  • How do you get access to my Facebook Page?

When we act as your Social Media Manager, we work with you to add a Forward Digital Marketing team member to a role on your brand/business page! These page roles allows our team member access to your page’s information only! We do not collect your personal information or password to your personal Facebook profile!

  • Do I need to mark a module complete? (check in top right corner)

Yes please! If you have COMPLETED the module, check the mark so that it turns from light grey to dark blue! This will send us an email letting us know where you are at in the project. Once you’ve marked them all complete, we will be notified that we can start working on our next phase! As we work, we will check boxes too. These will send you an email to let you know our work status. These checks are a great tool for us to be able to communicate with each.

  • Why can I not click some of the boxes inside my project portal?

If a module box is greyed out, it is not an active module. This is because nothing in this module can be completed yet! As we work through the project, a Forward Digital Marketing team member will activate the module when that part of the project is ready to be completed. Sometimes they are review boxes, sometimes it is the finished project! You will be notified via email when a module has been opened.

  • What is my client portal?

The client portal is your personal hub with all of your past and current projects! The wonderful thing about any digital marketing product is that it can be tailored for your brand! To make that tailoring easier, we will communicate through the client portal. Sometimes you will have tasks to do or items to upload to help move a project along, and other times you will be able to login and see the Forward Digital Marketing team working on a part of the project! The client portal is made for easier communication and organization, so each project does look a little bit different depending on what information we need.

  • Why does my small business need a website?

Are you selling products or services? If yes, you need a website. If no, you need a website.

Check out our blog post to get all of the specifics! The answer is not as easy as one FAQ answer box 😉

  • Why is the digital business card (DBC) a monthly subscription?

A digital business card (DBC) is a website page! We design your custom “card” with your brand, personal information, links to social media profiles or sites, etc… as with any website, there are hosting costs! The subscription ensures that your card stays “live.”

  • What can my digital business card (DBC) link to?

Does it have a URL? It’s a contender! Social media profiles (make sure they are public!), websites, online blogs, online documents… if you want it, we can link it! Bottom line, it is a business card, so any information or links on your DBC should reflect you and your brand!

  • What is a digital business card? (DBC)

A digital business card is a smart and sustainable option to share your contact information! Also known as an electronic or virtual business card, the card lives online and gives you 24/7 access. This means you’ll never have to fear not having your information to quickly share! Our DBCs also allow you to link your social media profiles, website, and traditional contact information (name, phone number, email) all in one place.

  • What are examples of digital marketing?

Any form of online communication is digital marketing. Any digital messages that appear on phones, tablets, computers, or other digital devices could be digital marketing. Specifically email campaigns, paid and organic social media posts, content marketing, web-based advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), and online video are just some examples. TV is still considered traditional.
